This 38 Special cartridge from Winchester’s Super-X line of ammunition sports a 158 grain lead semi-wadcutter projectile. The cylindrical bullet has a tapered nose with a flat point, which makes it feed more easily in semi-automatic weapons and also more versatile than a full wadcutter. It still provides the wadcutter’s best feature, however, which is its ability to punch clean holes in paper targets for training and easy scoring in competitive shooting.
This round offers controlled recoil, so you may enjoy making quick follow-up shots as well as less fatigue while firing repeatedly, and its subsonic muzzle velocity of 755 fps means your shots won’t deafen you and those around you. It also offers a factory fresh brass casing which you may reload multiple times.
