This 20 Gauge shotshell by Sellier & Bellot is loaded with 12 pellets of #2 buckshot. Although not the most common buckshot, #2’s .27” diameter pellets are certainly adequate for toppling a whitetail at a reasonable range, making fast work of larger varmints, and defending yourself from malevolent interlopers. A 20 Gauge shell’s hull is able to fit a greater number of these smaller pellets than it could double-aught.

Sellier & Bellot has made this shell’s shot pellets spherical and hard enough to resist deformation, which in conjunction with its even patterning wad will give your shotgun the accuracy needed to be useful. Their shotgun primer is non-corrosive and their propellant burns clean, so your weapon won’t need very frequent cleaning while you’re enjoying this ammunition. This shell features a clear plastic cap rather than a crimp to keep its contents in place, which may seem unfamiliar, but it’s Sellier & Bellot’s characteristic high quality work all the same!
