Premier Magnum Rimfire is indeed Remington’s premier line of magnum rimfire ammunition. This round features the AccuTip-V, a polymer-tipped tack-driving varmint-annihilating .172 caliber bullet. The AccuTip-V features a thin and concentric jacket, a swaged lead core, and a little boat tail to help it cut a flatter trajectory and flatten its target with more kinetic energy. When the AccuTip-V’s tip pushes inward, it forces a burst of shrapnel to fly outward – the dramatic terminal performance that sends varmints to Valhalla. (Assuming they died honorably in battle, or whatever the Viking code is.)
