This cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain soft point projectile. Its 2,820 fps muzzle velocity, concentric jacket and sleek overall profile give the bullet a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.319, which means you can reasonably expect your shot to transfer at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy to a deer at ranges up to 425 yards. The Non-Typical SP doesn’t have a bonded Jacket – but like Remington’s Core-Lokt, its jacket is mechanically embedded into its dense lead core to ensure sufficiently high weight retention and deep penetration. The bullet flattens down throughout penetration of the target, thus inflicting the massive wound channel that ends your hunt just seconds after you’ve squeezed the trigger.
