This cartridge features Hornady’s 170 grain InterLock. It’s a technologically advanced soft point, with a core and jacket that are kept from separating during penetration by the raised InterLock ring which mechanically binds them together, as well as a cannelure. The InterLock’s one-piece core preserves a greater part of its mass and energy as it causes deleterious deformation within the target, and the integral grooves which weaken the upper jacket provide controlled expansion even over long distances. The InterLock jacket’s tapering thickness even further ensures that expansion is consistent, so you can take confidence that the InterLock is going to deliver a clean, humane kill on contact!
This round’s brass casing is straight-walled and strong, able to cycle freely before you store it for future reloading projects. Hornady’s closely inspected primer and clean burning propellant will give you a consistent chamber pressure so that you can line up incredibly accurate shots!
