This cartridge is loaded with Winchester’s DynaPoint copper-plated hollow point projectile. The DynaPoint has got a smaller nose cavity than usual, but that doesn’t take away from its ability to exhibit quick terminal expansion after striking a squirrel or some other poor, innocent little creature. The DynaPoint’s copper exterior is very thin, but still sufficient to reduce lead fouling in all firearms. Its 1,255 fps muzzle velocity and 40 grain weight mean that the DynaPoint builds up enough chamber pressure behind it to fully cycle a semi-automatic firearm.
Winchester’s clean-shooting and accurate Wildcat series ammunition has been made in America since 1971, which we now realize was over 50 years ago. Please excuse us while we feel old.
