This round’s middleweight 130 grain projectile will treat you to a muzzle velocity of 800 fps. That’s a good balance of manageable recoil and flat trajectory – you’ll stay comfortable and have fun firing this ammo all day at the range. The full metal jacket’s copper alloy exterior will decelerate fouling of the barrel, and its lead core can’t attract a magnet. The flat nose bullet profile punches a clean hole through paper and also makes this ammo safe for lever-action rifles.
Browning’s noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder both do their parts to promote even slower barrel fouling. This Illinois-made ammo’s virgin brass cases fit correctly in the cylinder even after a handloader has worked his magic on them.
