The .300 Blackout cartridge is one of the best rounds ever designed for suppressed and unsuppressed use.
This ammo is manufactured by Fiocchi Ammo as a part of their Extrema Rifle line, these .300 Blackout bullets are made to extremely tight tolerances. The 125 grain Hornady SST bullets were chosen for the Fiocchi .300 Blackout round because it’s a superb bullet for their application. The SST or Super Shock Tip bullet has unique features that make it a great choice for defensive use or hunting. The well-known Hornady blue polymer tip is great for ballistic performance, but it also pushes rearward into the solid lead core, opening up the bullet and causing extensive tissue damage. The SST has a copper jacket that is “locked” or bonded to the lead core of the bullet using Hornady’s “Interlock” system, and a mid-body cannelure design for better crimping strength around the body of the bullet. The new, reloadable cases are highly polished, heavy walled, yellow brass cases with non-corrosive Boxer primers. These loads have a muzzle velocity of 2200-feet per second and they hit with 1343-foot pound of muzzle energy. These Fiocchi .300 Blackout 125 grain SST rounds come packed in 20 boxes of 25 rounds each, giving you a total of 500 rounds. That’s a perfect number of cartridges to have some fun at the range with your family, do some target shooting, or hunt some varmints. Get going!
