Got some very interesting 5.7x28mm NATO ammunition by Fiocchi for you! This cartridge’s projectile is perfect for shooting steel at close range. It poses a significantly lower chance of peppering you with shrapnel, which is always a welcome advantage when you’re working on your aim.

This round features a 35 grain frangible jacketed bullet. Its lead-free core is made of sintered copper powder, which is hard enough to remain intact during ignition but designed to break apart into dust and fragments when it collides with any surface harder than itself. The frangible core is jacketed with copper alloy, which sufficiently strengthens it for reliable feeding into a semi-automatic firearm’s chamber.

In addition to streamlining its frontal profile, the bullet’s polymer tip will deliver forceful terminal expansion during penetration of a soft medium. Alongside the bullet’s fragmenting core, that reduces (but doesn’t eliminate) the risk of potentially catastrophic over-penetration of a threat.

This training and self-defense ammo is loaded with reusable brass cases. Its lead-free primers make this ammo especially suitable for indoor training: neither ignition nor the bullet’s collision with a hard surface will produce airborne lead particles.
