It features the Winclean brass enclosed base bullet, which offers all the benefits of a full metal jacket but takes things one step further by having its bottom fully enclosed as well. That prevents hot propellant gasses from evaporating the lead in the core and creating toxic fumes which you’d have otherwise inhaled.
Winchester outfitted this cartridge with a responsive Boxer primer that is wholly devoid of lead, barium, and antimony, making it even better for your respiratory health while you work on your aim indoors. The round ignites without producing excessive residue as well, lessening the need for frequent cleaning in order to preserve a pistol’s accuracy. Winhester’s ammo further includes a new production brass casings that store remarkably well and retain the suppleness requisite for handloading.
