But you’re leaving nothing to chance when you invest in Fiocchi’s fine 44 Magnum ammunition. This is first and foremost a powerful cartridge, like all 44 Mags are, with a 240 grain bullet loaded to a 1,330 fps muzzle velocity that exits a revolver barrel with over 900 ft lbs of energy. That’s three times the minimum typically recommended for personal protection, and more than enough for taking boar as well.

The bullet itself is a semi-jacketed hollow point. The SJHP bullet’s partial jacket helps to keep it intact as its nose cavity unleashes devastating terminal expansion. This type of bullet’s nose cavity is not restricted by gilding metal, so it is able to expand more efficiently at lower velocities. But even if the bullet reaches its target with too little momentum to provide any expansion, its flat, angular nose profile will still bore a wide hole through soft tissue.

Fiocchi loads nonmagnetic bullets and non-corrosive primers, as well as the strong brass cases requisite to contain so much chamber pressure. This ammo is reloadable and lever gun compatible.
