This is a pistol round that despite being rarely, if ever chambered into a new gun (except in exotic small production runs for certain competitions), has a large quantity of shooters in the United States. The 32 SW Long ammunition from Sellier & Bellot is a fantastic load for the money and is aligned well with their company philosophy as it is a popular round in Europe and a classic law enforcement/military cartridge that has fallen a bit out of favor. They have made quite a name based on that business model over the years. The Czech company is a top tier producer by volume and by reputation. They are owned by the CBC group a Brazil based conglomerate in the firearms industry.
This load is a plinking and range round for the generally very accurate .32 S&W Long in a lead round nosed configuration that weighs in at 100 grains for the projectile. The resulting performance is in line with S&B’s excellent reliability and consistency that they have been famous for since their inception in 1825.
This round is suitable for use in older guns, as many of the available firearms in .32 S&W Long are from many years ago. You should ensure however, that your older gun is capable of shooting modern, smokeless powder ammunition and that it is in good working condition before shooting.
