Nontoxic TSS is 95% tungsten, with an additional 5% nickel and iron thrown in for good measure. TSS is 56% denser than lead, which enables it to retain fantastic momentum over ridiculously long ranges. You would never dream of using #9 lead shot to hunt turkey, but when 0.080” diameter shot pellets boast a density of 18 g/cc they are more than capable of quickly felling a gobbler. And thanks to this shell’s thick pattern, broadsiding a turkey becomes easier than ever!
