This 38 Special cartridge by Hornady features a 110 grain Flex Tip jacketed hollow point bullet. The Flex Tip is Hornady’s own invention, a soft tip on the bullet that compresses inward on impact to trigger immediate expansion much like as in a polymer tipped 22 WMR.
