At 7/8 ounces, this round’s shot column is the heaviest permissible for competitive trap. Its #7.5 shot pellets are ideally sized for annihilating clays over any realistic distance, and they’re made of first-run chilled lead for exceptional hardness. Fiocchi repeatedly screens their pellets to make sure they all conform to the same dimensions – just another reason why their shells unleash such consistent patterns.

Between its cushioned wad and reasonable 1,210 fps muzzle velocity, this shell just doesn’t have what it takes to produce very much recoil. Fiocchi’s powder is formulated to combust at the even rate which makes recoil even gentler, and their reloadable hulls are armed with sensitive and noncorrosive primers.
