These Super Target loads from Winchester are a versatile choice that are ideal of 20 gauge competition and recreational use that can still be applied to birds should the need arise. Each shell is 2-3/4 inches in length which is perfect for high-level wingshooting pieces but compatible with nearly every shotgun chamber on the market. A tight crimp and moisture repellent hull protect the ammo from the environment while a nicely polished metallic head ensures smooth extraction from break-open and semi-automatic scatterguns. Each shell is ignited by a clean-sparking 209 primer of Winchester’s own design and construction.

Inside the shell is a 7/8 ounce load of #8 lead shot which is made up of chilled lead; the chilling process produces harder pellets that are likely to get clearer breaks as their turn clay pigeons into beautiful orange dust to help decorate your scorecard. The shot is protected by the raised portion of Winchester’s hinged wad which helps the pellets maintain roundness for more consistent travel inflight. In addition, the wad’s center section collapses briefly during the firing process in order to mitigate recoil and help shooters quickly regain their sight picture for followup on a near-miss or a clean transition when shooting doubles.
