When a bullet has stayed on the market for as long as the Core-Lokt has, you know it has to be good. This 308 Win round’s 150 grain pointed soft point projectile is cost-effective, but for just how much it reliably delivers few hunters could need anything better to bag their buck for the year. The Core-Lokt bullet’s concentric jacket, spitzer shape profile, and aerodynamic meplat give it the high ballistic coefficient needed for accurate shooting. Its exposed core translates to simply devastating mushrooming on impact, especially on a thin-skinned quarry such as the whitetail. The Core-Lokt reliably retains most of its weight during penetration as well, because true to its name its core is “lokt” to its expansion-promoting tapered jacket.
Remington’s brass casing seats its bullet properly, another feather in this cartridge’s cap in terms of its accuracy, and their clean burning propellant and non-corrosive primer will keep your rifle’s action and bore neater over the course of your expedition.
