Lever Revolution by Hornady offering a more compelling price point for your favorite large platform lever cartridge than you might expect. It’s competitively priced considering the absolute performance increase and the added value based improvements on the tried and true .30-30 Winchester cartridge.

It offers an FTX projectile with the polymer tip in signature red orange to denote the Hornady invention which has some subtle improvements over other bullet designs without having to be too showy. The polymer tip reduces the perception of the danger of primer hits in the lever action tube magazines (though admittedly that has never really been a thing, when firearms are being handled properly). The polymer tip offers uniform expansion of the projectile upon impact and helps with feeding and bullet weight retention without adding any real weight by itself.

The 160 grain weight is a nice compromise between velocity and penetration, because you get the good penetration you expect, with the flatter trajectory and the nicer accuracy of a true flying projectile, while still getting great expansion to promote wound channel breadth and adequate energy dump.

Suitable for feeding and reliability in any lever action firearm chambered in .30-30 Winchester.
