Nosler’s Assured Stopping Power is a two-in-one projectile. It is designed to exhibit superb accuracy and precision, thus making it a great pick for competitive target shooting events. But if the Assured Stopping Power strikes a soft medium instead of a target, its terminal ballistics will prove why it’s also suitable for personal protection.

This cartridge’s 124 grain bullet is a jacketed hollow point. The jacket surrounding the nose cavity wears multiple skives. These strategically weaken the jacket, which enables it to split apart and peel back even if it meets its target at a relatively low velocity. That same jacket is also extremely even in thickness, which grants the JHP the rotational stability it requires to follow a flat and predictable trajectory.

This ammunition combines match grade cases and bullets with optimized nose profiles to ensure sure feeding into any semi-automatic firearm’s chamber. (Note that this ammo may have +P headstamps, although in reality it is standard pressure.)
