With the exception of its abnormally large tip, the 130 grain Copper Extreme Point is made of solid – wait for it – copper. It is a lead-free bullet, so it is just as nontoxic as it is clean-shooting. The bullet’s consistent weight distribution, boat tail and sleek profile grant it a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.418, which means its trajectory barely rises 5.5” above the muzzle line before it slips between a quarry’s ribs at 300 yards. Its monolithic construction makes the Copper Extreme Point resilient enough to avoid fragmentation as it bores deeply through sinewy muscle tissue, and its large tip triggers massive energy transferral coupled with deadly terminal expansion.
These cartridges’ solid copper bullets are seated in sterling solid brass cases, with primers and powder that are matched to create a barely deviating 3,000 fps muzzle velocity. Hunt with confidence – hunt with Winchester!
