Right off the bat, this is not a hunting round. The ELD-X provides terminal expansion; the ELD Match, on the other hand, does not. Every molecule in the projectile exists only to enhance precision. The ELD Match’s most impressive feature is its Heat Shield tip, which is made of polymer that doesn’t melt or otherwise deform while it is baked by air friction. The perfect meplat gives way to a secant ogive profile Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, which is extremely concentric and rotationally stable, and which also ends in a drag-reducing boat tail.
