It’s called “Handgun Hunter,” but there’s zero reason this 10mm ammo by Hornady couldn’t serve as a definitive solution for self-defense with a handgun as well. A bullet that couples overwhelming power on impact with the ability to penetrate and expand so reliably will certainly hold its own in a fight!

This cartridge features Hornady’s MonoFlex, an all-copper bullet. Copper’s blessings aren’t limited to zero environmental impact and less barrel fouling. It’s also a hardy metal, which coupled with the MonoFlex’s lack of a core and jacket that could potentially separate guarantees that the bullet will penetrate deeply. Here’s a bullet that retains at least 95% of its weight!

The MonoFlex has a little trick up its sleeve called “elastomer.” This supple black substance fills the monolithic bullet’s nose cavity.
