We usually don’t like picking up heavy things. But we can’t put Winchester’s AA Heavy Target Load 20 Gauge ammunition down! It’s just too good for trap, sporting clays and general purpose target shooting – and Lord help any rodent critters you aim it at.

This round’s shot column truly is heavy for a 20ga target load. At one ounce it harbors a full 350 pieces of #7.5 shot. It is Winchester’s usual lead shot, which is only to say it is hard lead that has been formed into uniformly sized pellets. It’s the kind of shot that’s naturally equipped to pattern efficiently, and it only does its job even better thanks to the AA hinged wad. The plastic column’s middle collapses to absorb energy, prevent shot deformation and smooth out felt recoil.
