We love the AK-47. We don’t love it more than the AR-15, because we are so American that bald eagles frequently land and perch on our shoulders, but we still need plenty of 7.62×39 ammo to get our regular Kalashnikov fix. Thankfully Igman of Bosnia and Herzegovina has stepped up and shipped plenty of cases of the good stuff our way!
If you’re only used to firing Russian-made 7.62×39, then what you know about 7.62×39 doesn’t apply to this ammo. Its 123 grain full metal jacket bullets can’t attract a magnet! Their lead-antimony cores and copper-zinc jackets are nonmagnetic across the board, so you’ll have free reign at any target range which welcomes exceptionally attractive patrons such as yourself.
This ammo also doesn’t have steel cases or Berdan primers. Igman’s solid brass cases are brand new, and their noncorrosive Boxer primers are easy to replace with new component primers. This ammo’s primers are additionally sealed, so you can rest easy if you leave it in storage for a long time.
