This 45 ACP cartridge by Remington sports a 230 grain Golden Saber brass jacketed hollow point projectile. Its jacket is made of cartridge brass rather than copper gilding metal, which is thicker and stiffer so it can release superior energy over longer distances. The jacket is cut completely through, which along with the hollow point permits controlled expansion to over 1.5 times the bullet’s original diameter. The jacket is further cut in a patented spiral pattern, so it produces large shredding petals during expansion to deliver excellent stopping power.
With 500 of these cartridges to work through, you’ll have ample opportunity to familiarize yourself with the performance of the round you may very well stake your life on one day.
