This .300 AAC Blackout ammo, by Federal American Eagle, is economical and outstanding at the same time. The American Eagle brand, a child of Federal Premium, was born in late 2015. It was primarily designed for practice, target shooting, and training. Loaded to the same specs as Federal Premium ammunition, but at a more economical price for target shooting.

The .300 AAC Blackout round, (also 7.62x35mm) is a carbine cartridge that was developed by the US by the Advanced Armament Corporation (AAC) for the M4 carbine. They were looking to achieve similar ballistics to the 7.62x39mm Soviet in the AR-15. Military customers wanted to find a way to shoot .30 caliber rounds from an M4 while keeping original mags and components and without losing full capacity of standard magazines. The AAC took the .300-221 wildcat concept, engineered and figured the specs and submitted their findings to SAAMI, the Sporting Arms and Manufacturer’s Institute. The .300 AAC Blackout was approved on January 17, 2011.

With the similarity of the .300 Blackout rounds to the .223/5.56 ammo, care should be taken not to use .300 Blackout in a rifle chambered for .223/5.56 or 7.62x40mm. Much like the .223/5.56 warning, the .300 Blackout rounds are larger than the bore of the .223, so chambering and firing would cause excessive pressures possibly causing the rifle to explode, resulting in injury or death. So long story short- keep your ammunition separated!

You will receive 20 rounds per box, 25 boxes per case. These rounds are new, boxer-primed brass, 150grain FMJ.
