The 44 Magnum is an extremely useful revolver for situations where the thing you’re shooting absolutely, positively has to stay shot. This round is armed with a special bullet for target practice: the total metal jacket. To be sure, the TMJ is just as incapable of terminal expansion as the plain old FMJ, and its accuracy is essentially identical as well. But because its copper-alloy jacket surrounds all of the TMJ’s lead core – including its base – it’s not able to release vaporized lead while it’s cooked by hot propellant gasses. The TMJ is an exceptionally clean-shooting bullet for the same reason!
Ammo Inc. doubles down on clean performance with their Hyperclean Technology, which cuts down on carbon fouling produced by combusting propellant. This noncorrosive ammo’s reloadable brass cases and high-quality bullets were all made in Arizona and/or Wisconsin!
