50 Rounds of .38 Super Ammo by Aguila – 130gr FMJ
$35.50
Ammo Manufacturer – Aguila
Bullets – 130 grain full-metal-jacket (FMJ)
Ammo Casings – Boxer-primed brass
.38 Super is an interesting cartridge out of yesteryear. Introduced in the late 1920s as a higher pressure variant of the now-defunct .38 ACP (not to be confused with the ever popular .380 ACP), it was designed specifically to be used on the M1911 frame.
While the .38 Super has never really taken off in the self-defense circles, particularly as advancements in ammunition technology have made the shorter-cased 9mm Parabellum nearly as potent ballistically as the .38 Super, and the ammunition is much less costly. But the .38 Super is a very accurate caliber which shoots with a high velocity and shoots very flat. In light of that, it holds strong as a premier competition shooting caliber.
Aguila’s .38 Super Auto +P with 130-grain FMJ bullets is engineered for just such a mission, target and match. Cruising along at a healthy 1,220 f/ps at the muzzle and still holding onto 992 f/ps at 100 yards, this ammunition is well suited for hole punching and does so quite accurately. Along with excellent accuracy, it carries with it the reliability you have come to expect from renowned Aguila.
For all of you target and competition shooters out there, you know the value in keeping a well-stocked cache of ammunition, so make sure to get plenty of this affordably priced .38 Super ammo while it lasts.
