This 3” shell packs 1-1/2 ounces of #7 Tungsten Super Shot, or TSS if you’re short on time. TSS is an alloy of tungsten, nickel and iron, and its density is 22% higher than pure tungsten – 56% denser than traditional lead! That’s why TSS retains massively more downrange momentum and kills so efficiently on impact. Tungsten alloy is so dense that #7 shot pellets have similar terminal ballistics to #3 lead shot!
TSS is just too hard to undergo any amount of deformation during ignition, which alongside Remington’s tight-patterning wad ensures the effective spread you need to ensnare unsuspecting gobblers. These rounds are loaded in the USA with reliable and consistent primers and powder.
