Winchester bills their Double X line of ammunition as providing the ultimate, high velocity knockdown performance in the field. This 12 Gauge shotshell is loaded with 15 pellets of 00 buckshot. The .33” diameter pellets are each copper plated, letting them resist deformation in the barrel to provide a tight pattern and giving them the hardness needed to penetrate even the toughest whitetail hide. This shell’s performance is in no way hampered by its positively zippy 1,450 fps muzzle velocity, either.
