This shotshell’s lower recoil isn’t the product of its muzzle velocity, which is actually quite normal for a target load at 1,290 fps. It’s just loaded with 1 ounce of shot instead of 1-1/8 ounces. It’s also furnished with the AA wad, which absorbs recoil energy during ignition thanks to the magic of its hinged midsection. This round’s AA wad and extra hard lead keep its #8 shot pellets spherical throughout ignition as well, so you can expect to pour a tight pattern out of your barrel every time you squeeze the trig.

This shell’s smooth hull glides easily into a shotgun’s waiting chamber. It is reloadable, and neither its primer nor its powder will create very much fouling.
