Quality Winchester AA Heavy target load at a great price for 12 gauge range practice and basic patterning for your longer sport shooting needs. Clay pigeons are no match for the heavy payload and despite a slightly heavier recoil than the normal bargain shotshells, these rounds are actually quite mellow all things considered.

The heavy target load makes for a more enjoyable shooting experience if you’re out of practice or haven’t been as accurate as you once were, of late. Basically you’ll hit more targets with less difficulty, with the one caveat of the increased recoil. It’s a single caveat because the rest of the story is pretty good. The price point is solid. It’s barely more than the cheapest target loads available on the market. The construction quality is good: Winchester has been doing this for many years and has a reputation for shotshell production that is virtually untouchable. The 1 1/8 ounce load gives you substantially more lead on target and great pattern density for clays. The shell, despite being a low base, is remarkably well constructed and can be reloaded.

This is a 2 ¾” shell suitable for use in like chambered shotguns. The 1200 feet per second velocity will easily cycle most semiauto shotguns with little to no tuning
