This shell’s 394 shot pellets were all thoroughly screened to ensure that they share identical 0.095” diameters. They were also chilled immediately following formation to promote the tightest possible pattern density. The accordion-like wad beneath the shot column compacts to keep the shot pellets even rounder, and it also helps to soften how much recoil the 1,200 fps muzzle velocity shell can produce.
