This is a straightforward little shell, with no bells and whistles to jack up its price tag. It still works great, though, because it’s loaded with one even ounce of #4 steel shot that really does a number on ducks that have flown in close to check out decoys. The 3” shell’s 192 shot pellets are backed by a hinged wad that promotes reduced recoil, as well as a fast-burning charge of propellant which pushes it to a muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps.

This ammo’s hot-sparking primers do their part to reduce residue buildup. They’re sealed for added protection against the wetlands’ wet weather. You can also use these handy reloadable shells if you’d like to hunt upland game without scattering toxic lead all over the place!
