Federal Prairie Storm FS Lead 20 Gauge ammunition will give you the blend of range and stopping power you want for hunting many delicate creatures – especially pheasant.

This shell’s 1-1/4 ounces of #6 shot is made up of two different types of pellets. 70% of the shot is round and plated with copper, which tightens pattern density and increases penetration depth after impact. 30% of the shot is FliteStopper pellets, which have sharp, raised edges around their midsections. FliteStopper shot cuts through plumage and stamps wider, more injurious wounds into its target.

Federal’s FliteControl Flex wad promotes more efficient patterning. The wad sticks out fins like a shuttlecock to create a tighter gas seal during ignition and promote cleaner, more consistent separation from the shot column. The FliteControl wad system is also utilized in Federal’s premium self-defense shells, and it is compatible with all upland chokes.
