The lead is fortified with antimony, and is too rigid to sustain significant deformation when exposed to heavy recoil. High-antimony lead is also harder-hitting! This shell’s #8 shot column is further protected against deformation by Federal’s Podium wad, which utilizes a unique disc-shaped midsection to compress under recoil.
