Do you hear that faint noise coming from outside? That’s ducks. They’re laughing at you, mocking your lack of curled tail feathers and webbed toes. Are you just going to let that slide? Or are you going to show them what for with Winchester’s Super-X waterfowl hunting ammo?

This is a long shell at 3”, and that’s a good thing because it creates more real estate for #4 steel shot. Xpert shot, to be specific, which makes up for its lack of an “E” with superior resistance to corrosion. Such smooth and perfectly globular shot patterns in a tight pack, but what it won’t do is scratch up your barrel. That’s thanks to this shell’s full-length wad!

With its muzzle velocity of 1,400 fps, this is by all means a high velocity shell. Steel needs a little extra energy coming out of the gate to compensate for its relatively low density, but this shell still commands the wetlands with its flat trajectory and huge punch on impact. That consistent fast muzzle velocity is assured by a non-corrosive primer and clean-burning powder, both housed in a reloadable hull.
