The hollow nose promotes expansion during entry into a small game animal which creates a large wound cavity, produces faster bleeding, and deposits kinetic energy into the internal organs in order to yield a quick and human stop.
This construction also precludes lethal over penetration which might otherwise continue to travel during field hunting. Winchester locks the bullet into a rimfire brass casing which is powered by their own propellant and priming mixtures. The chemical compounds are specifically engineered for the task and will deposit zero caustic chemicals into the bore and action of your favorite sporting rifle. The 36-grain bullet weight offers familiar ballistics in most handguns like the SW-22 Victory and rifles such as the CZ-452. When fired from a handgun, the rounds will remain subsonic which makes them perfect for pairing with silencers.
