This 308 Win cartridge from Hornady’s BLACK line of ammunition features the Nebraskan manufacturer’s patented 168 grain A-MAX projectile. The bullet has an ultra low-drag tip, which balances its center of pressure to optimize its stability in flight. The A-MAX further offers a swaged lead core for additional balance and uniformity, a nearly perfectly concentric AMP jacket, and secant ogive profile which lowers its overall drag and optimizes its bearing surface. This boat tail bullet’s tapered base is matched perfectly to its caliber to maximize its ballistic coefficient and as the result improve multiple facets of its performance in flight.
Versatile BLACK ammunition delivers excellent performance out of your firearm no matter its size, firing mechanism, or accessories. As such this round’s new production brass casing is uniform and reloadable, and its primer is so sensitive that it cries during romantic movies.
