This round is rigged out with a 150 grain solid copper hollow point projectile. A copper bullet’s advantages aren’t limited to its nontoxicity. It can’t suffer from core/jacket separation during penetration for the simple reason that it hasn’t got a jacket. An SCHP also boasts the streamlined profile and uniform weight distribution that are both requisite for great accuracy. And so long as the bullet strikes its target within about 350 yards, it’s going to deliver the devastating terminal expansion that anchors a deer exactly where it once stood.
