This cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain soft point projectile. Its 2,820 fps muzzle velocity, concentric jacket and sleek overall profile give the bullet a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.319, which means you can reasonably expect your shot to transfer at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy to a deer at ranges up to 425 yards. The Non-Typical SP doesn’t have a bonded Jacket – but like Remington’s Core-Lokt, its jacket is mechanically embedded into its dense lead core to ensure sufficiently high weight retention and deep penetration.
