Federal Gold Medal 308 ammunition is the go to round for many civilian target shooters and hunters as well. These rounds carry the famous Sierra Match King Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) heavy weight 175 grain bullets. These bullets are extremely well-known for their stellar accuracy and stopping power. The Federal brass cases that are used in these rounds are thick-walled, non-corrosive Boxer primed, reloadable, brass cases. They have a fast-paced muzzle velocity of 2600 feet per second and a seriously hard hitting muzzle energy of 2627 foot pounds.
