The 300 AAC Blackout makes an excellent solution for home defense, and it’s great for hunting a wide range of critters as well. But sometimes you just want to see how accurately your 300 BLK rifle can behave. For those occasions, you only need Barnes Precision Match series ammunition.

Barnes’ Match Burner isn’t the most expensive open tip match boat tail on the market, but it certainly holds its own against rival competition bullets. Its narrow meplat sports a very small aperture – proof that the Match Burner’s solid lead core solidified in place so it could perfectly conform to the interior contours of the concentric copper jacket. (The Match Burner does not undergo terminal expansion and as such isn’t a hunting bullet.) Its angled boat tail minimizes drag to a degree that elevates the Match Burner’s G1 ballistic coefficient to 0.330. That’s impressive for a supersonic 125 grain load!

Barnes manufactures their bullets and loads their ammunition in Utah. There they implement high-grade reloadable brass cases, match Boxer primers and premium propellant to ensure outstanding accuracy shot after shot after shot!
