Let’s begin with this Critical Defense label round’s jacketed hollow point bullet. The 100 grain Flex Tip eXpanding’s signature feature is its polymer plug. It stops debris from clothing and other types of barriers from clogging up the nose cavity, which in turn preserves the FTX’s capacity for harmful terminal expansion. The FTX is able to produce terminal expansion even more reliably thanks to its jacketed rim, which promotes smoother feeding before proceeding to keep the bullet undeformed until it has bored its way into soft tissue.
