Hornady built this 6.5mm Creedmoor Match ammo to be absolutely unstoppable on the range. They released the 6.5mm caliber in 2007 and designed it for long-distance target shooting with significantly lower-recoil than other comparable cartridges.

This 6.5mm Creedmoor ammo features Hornady’s most accurate bullet style, the Extremely Low Drag (ELD). Consistency in bullet performance is key if you want to win matches and the 140gr. ELD loaded into this 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge has a perfectly formed Heat Shield Tip that is uniform in shape and size from round to round. The tip protects the bullet against in-flight deformation caused by extreme heat generated from elevated velocities, which ultimately promotes more dependable ballistic coefficients down-range.

Hornady specially selects the premium components that go into crafting this match ammunition, including clean-burning powders and new-production brass casings. Each casing is Boxer-primed and reloadable.
