Pulling out all of the stops, Federal builds these cartridges using brass casings of uniform dimensions that can be reloaded afterward. The casings wear clean-igniting Boxer primers at their bases which are coupled with moisture-blocking sealant for reliable function after long periods of storage. Crimped at the top of the round is a 130-grain open tip match (OTM) projectile.

This particular OTM is the Hybrid and is designed by Berger, an American company with over six decades of experience.
