This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Sellier & Bellot features a 131 grain soft point projectile. The bullet’s CuZn 10 jacket stops just short of its tip to reveal its soft lead core. This permits the bullet to rapidly deform and tumble through a game animal’s body upon impact, providing terminal performance comparable to a hollow point’s for great stopping power. This round’s very fast 2,740 fps muzzle velocity further bolsters its ability to drop rugged game fast, and it retains more than half of that velocity 400 yards out.
