This 6.5 Creedmoor round’s bullet still has the locked together core and jacket which helps its predecessor penetrate so deeply, but its accuracy and terminal ballistics are both even better thanks to the “Big Green Polymer Tip!”

Its tip isn’t the only feature that helps this round’s bullet fly along a flat trajectory. Its drag-minimizing boat tail and fine-tuned copper jacket also contribute to its high 0.485 G1 ballistic coefficient. You’re looking at a supersonic velocity until about 1,275 yards, which is awesome for a 6.5 CM bullet in the 129 grain weight class.

The Core-Lokt Tipped bullet’s tip is surrounded by a thin jacket mouth. It easily splits that apart as it proceeds to sink into the dense lead core’s precision-formed nose cavity.
