This cartridge features a 140 grain jacketed soft point projectile. The bullet’s jacket extends all the way to its tip, and benefits performance by promoting smooth feeding, lessening the occurrence of bore fouling, preventing barrel deformation, and facilitating reliable penetration. That its soft lead core is exposed at the bullet’s flat meplat means that it will widen substantially during penetration, providing the terminal performance necessary to stop even the most rugged buck dead in its tracks.
