This round’s 185 grain TAC-XP is a monolithic bullet, which is made entirely out of copper as opposed to a lead core with a gilding metal jacket. Copper shoots clean – no lead residue in your barrel, no vaporized lead from the core that will sneak into your lungs. Copper is also extremely hardy, which is why the TAC-XP excels at retaining the weight and momentum requisite for deep penetration – even if it must first conquer a barrier as tough as thick fabric, wallboard or sheet metal.
The TAC-XP features a wide hollow point nose cavity. This ensures that the bullet will expand quickly and uniformly as it sinks deeper and deeper into soft tissue. A deep and wide wound channel amounts to precisely the terminal ballistics which neutralize a threat quickly!
This ammo is loaded in the great state of Utah with Barnes’ finest brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder. This lead-free ammo should function correctly in all 45 ACP (aka 45 Auto) pistols and carbines!
